First day back to work
First day back to work. Regular madness, trying to make up for three lost days. Reloading databases, recounting records, running well-forgotten queries… Fun, fun, fun. Seems like I have mistakenly thought that MS SQL server is smarter then it is, so the error where I get $126 million instead of $34 million is somewhere within the data transformations… That’s why I’m sitting here at 6pm on Friday night. Cound’ve had more fun going home.
The LCD screen which I wanted so much two years ago now costs only $719 (instead of $1100), so it’s well within reach for my next birthday. Hopefully I will still have a job at that time. Because looks like I have to go through eye surgery in order to stop the shit that’s going on with my left eye, constantly getting scratches. If I had the insurance it would cost me pretty much nothing (since this kind of surgery is usually covered), but LASIK is not, so that’s another $4,500… Or #3,500 if I will do it before 2005… Hard choices, can’t even ask my manager if I’ll have this job till New Year. Don’t wake the evil… 
Oh, and one more thing. Here’s two pictures, of the same model, first two are mine, other two are taken by other photographer. Apparently pictures he made are better, I was just wondering, how far to the bad side are mine?
