Citibank scam
Just how many more sick things have to hit the fan for major outsourcers to realize that it’s very easy to steal from them. Especially – banks… Gee, I can almost see the “friendly” call rep asking “Can you tell me your account number please” and just jotting it down on a piece of paper. Given that average number of calls a single call rep gets is around 20 (just an estimate), that’s 100 credit card numbers per week right there. You can’t go after them, since there’s no US jurisdiction in India. You can’t go after company – it’s their business where to put their call centers. All you really can do is stop calling customer service if it’s outside US…
